More To Mica - Life & Fashion Theme Update

Hi Everyone! Just last Tuesday, February 24, 2015 I went up another age. One more year and I'll be the same age as my birth date.



We would usually just have a cake and/or ice cream plus kfc's bucket chicken at home when it's the birthday of a family member but this time I decided to treat my family to a dinner at Modern Shanghai, Glorietta 2.





Since it's my birthday, I decided to fill my outfit with stuff that was given to me by loved one's. To feel that I am loved and to remember that the day is a gift from God.



Since were talking about gifts, let me share one present I got. And it's from... the Loml. Thank you Patrick!!




A mint colored penny board from Big H Skate! Thank you so much! Actually got it a few days before my birthday so I've used it a bit at home already. Haha.

Hope to get more practice with bf outside the house soon. :)

Yey to my first outfit post for 2015! I'm also quite happy that finally I am able to take my own #ootd's with just me, my camera and a tripod! And whew, its nothing but tiring. I should get a remote soon.

Happy Happpyy Birthday again to the man who takes me even in my craziest and silliest.

I'm not much of a nail polish kind of girl, but I do love it when my nails are painted with lovely colors. It may not be the season for florals but I will say that pastels will always be my all year kind of nail polish colors.

I've just recently had my nails painted and got it dotted. :)



Yey! First nail art for 2015 and for first nail art post on the blog.

I've had these nail polishes from The Face Shop since last year, and there's a lot of reasons for me to buy a few more polishes from The Face Shop. First is the array of colors (love them pastels). Second is that the polish takes a few minutes to dry up, which means I have more time to do other stuff.


Adding this minimal ring from Style On Air for the finishing touch. Style On Air branches: Pop Culture (Trinoma & Alabang Town Center).

And so that day has come again. Our relationship steps to another number whenever the date November 17 comes. We are now on the fourth year of our race to forever.



I was the one to look for restaurants/places for us to eat in Tagaytay. I forgot the name of the place I told Patrick I wanted to go to. I had to look for other restaurants, and he suggested we go to Memory Lane. I agreed anyway since I couldn't choose where to go. We arrived at Memory Lane past 11pm.

Pardon the few potatoes of this Mom's Tender Juicy Babyback Ribs, Patrick had eaten the others already.



Ahhh, this Bulalo Steak! I had to order because it sounds new and it's super delicious I'm so happy I had it. (I remembered how much I enjoyed steak sauce)



Yum yum yum! The food seemed to taste better than Rack's. I want to go back right now looking at these photos...

After our lunch at Memory Lane we were supposed to go to a cafe but it was closed. We decided to go to the ice cream store beside The Original Buko Pie Shop instead.



Buffy's! Have you been here? Their ice cream is organic.



It did taste organic. We weren't able to finish it, not even half of it. Haha.

Then we headed off to Nuvali and hopped to Paseo. Then we went to Alabang Town Center to watch Big Hero 6. Funny movie but I am not happy about Tadashi's death. Hahaha.

And.. that's how the day went for both of us.



Thank you, Patrick for all the times you've put up with me and for all the things you've done and sacrificed for my happiness. Because love isn't all good and the sweet things, it has it's worst time too that's why I am so glad I've found a guy who accepts me for my imperfections. The start of our relationship have had it rough but nevertheless I wouldn't exchange all those years for anything in the world.

I thank God for those years we've had and pray that we will be able to take our relationship to infinity.



Our special day has ended but our love continues.

It's almost the holidays but let me get away with wearing springy and floral dresses. Flower prints is still in tune with Manila's hot weather. Whew! Spell sweat. Wore this to a kiddie party.

Yey! Another day to watch Philippine Fashion Week Spring Summer 2015. And this time the showcase will be from our very own local designers.

First in line are designers from EsAc.

Opening the show was Jun Jun Cambe whose designs were full on and truly onto the Filipino traditional garments.



The next was Lyle Ibanez, but I would have to apologize for I won't be able to post any photos. As his collection was full black and looking at my photos, their clothes are joining with the background. I wouldn't want you to waste your time looking at jus the model's arms and legs. Hahaha.

Jumping on to Audie Ae. He just had one to showcase, unless add up the guy wearing only a red brief with the EsAc logo at the butt area. Lolz.



Next up is Jeffrey Rogador. This collection I super love together with Jerome Salaya Ang collection which you will also see below.



This look is the first to show up. From then on I was already 'Oh! I'm gonna love these!' and I totally did.

I could wear this and we'll be matchy matchy. Perfect for our coming 4th anniversary. If only I can. Haha. Love love! ❤❤




Those shoes! I've been seeing mandals over instagram and I haven't got one. T_T



Such a lovely off-shoulder dress from Jerome Salaya Ang. You should know that I am a fan of off-shoulder tops, dresses and the like ever since I don't know, and that's one reason why this collection got me as well.

Brilliant! That's the word for the collection Sidney Perez Sio. Just look at how she transformed an originally mens clothing - the barong into ladies' wear.






I'm really delighted to be able to watch PhFW, and to be able to see up close the works of Philippine Fashion designers. It's sad that I wasn't able to go on the third day.

I'd just like to say how thankful I am to God for letting me be part of Clozette. It was such a blessing. I got media passes for the second time around. Hopefully, I can attend as a blogger. (Praying)
