I used to shop endless from different stores online, until one day I got broke, lol. Well, sort of, but there was too much clothes, necklaces, rings, earrings that have piled up my room and some of it I hadn’t actually used. So lately, I sized down online shopping to one particular online store, Zalora. I might have mentioned in my previous posts about Zalora’s in-house brand, Something Borrowed and that I am a certified supporter of Something Borrowed, the products they offer fits my style so well.

I was given a discount coupon a few months ago, and so not to put it to waste, I ordered a few stuff from Zalora. I have to apologize though that the package had actually been sitting in my closet for a long while, I forgot to open it until today. Lol.

Anyway, the Mesh Panel Drawstring Shorts (P799), Bow Earring Multi-Pack ( and Stone Pendant Necklace are all from Something Borrowed.



I ordered this necklace and forgot what it looked like, the pendant is actually really nice. I'm happy I bought it.



Multi-pack earrings like these are treasures! It gives you options on what to wear for certain occasions.

Instead of just about the outfit for the description, I'd like to share a few thoughts for a change...

Life isn't perfect as how we hope it would be, most of the time our plans don't go the way we want. Once we've set "to-dos" for the day, we expect it to go smoothly or on track as much as possible... But sometimes this and that happens.




In my case, the sudden turn of events happens quite a lot, sometimes because things just don't work out or sometimes someone just needs a hand even when it's really late in the evening but can't wait for the next day but I'm already about to sleep, but then if it's about helping to carry someone's else's stress then help them, I shall. And for sure, there had come/will come a day when I needed/we'll need help from others too.

So whatever it is that had change your tracks, it's things that are meant to happen.. because like what others would say everything happens for a reason.

If you’re someone like me who stays home most if not all the time.. (Which is a bit contradicting for someone like me who wants to blog) but then I grew up that way that’s why I can’t help but feel so much pleasure whenever I take trips here and there with my family. And since, we had a relative abroad coming for a week this Christmas season we went to Pico de Loro for an overnight stay after Christmas.



Members and guests of Pico de Loro can swim at the pool til’ 10pm. The photo above is where the pool is located, it’s divided into three pools. One for the kids, the other is a 4ft deep and the biggest one which would probably be 5ft deep (the photo below is the deepest pool).




We stayed in one of the condo buildings here.




On the opposite side of the hotel you’ll find the beautiful beach.. Where my brother, cousin and I were only able to swim for like 10 minutes I think. Hahaha. Because we took pictures first, went back to our room to change into swim gear and then got back to the beach at probably past 5:30 and looked for other family members before we splashed to the sea not knowing the beach was only open til’ 6pm.



With my cousin, Isabel who visits every two years or so. See you soon!



The place was awesome. It’s nice to unwind and just enjoy the moment without thinking about school or work. I was looking forward for a climb at Mount Pico de Loro, also known as Mount Palay-Palay but our time was limited since we just stayed overnight. Still, it was surely a memorable trip for me and my family.




Would be glad to be back to this place! Hope you guys had a great day welcoming 2016!

Major backlog.... but there will be always time for things. And when it comes to our daily schedules it’s best to take track of time. Thanks to Peter Henlein for bringing us the small timepiece we know as Watch.

Patrick and I just happen to be hanging around Paseo for our 5th anniversary, since it’s near our place and we weren’t able to plan anything coz’ I was busy at school, when we spotted a store full of watches (the word ‘outlet’ was flashing at our eyes). We barged in! And I took pictures to share it to people who might be interested. And so, store spotlight this time is Time Collection Outlet Store at Paseo de Santa Rosa.



They have a variety of Casio watches...

and many more at discounted prices.. You’ll surely enjoy checking out the place.



The trip to Time Collection ended up great for someone who finally bought his watch or should i say watches. Patrick’s been looking for a timepiece to replace his current one. I got one too but I’ll keep that watch to myself. Hahaha. You’ll be seeing it in some of my ootds anyway.



It’s really nice to be living close to a place full of outlet stores. I adore outlet stores, who doesn’t? It’s always smart to save on cost when buying stuff, specially when they are of good quality too.

A beautiful, cozy and heart-warming place to dine at Tagaytay. Cafe Voi La serves us with Asian Fusion cuisine. A perfect place for people looking for good food, cool weather and tranquility.



Cafe Voi La have heavenly cakes that Patrick had me taste before but I never had a chance to actually eat at the restaurant until a few days ago. I got so excited because Patrick kept on telling me about the place and that I should try their salmon. Mhhmm, SALMON. :)




After making ourselves ready and set. We were served with FREE FOOD (lol). Breads with tomato & olive oil dip. No, sorry really I don’t know what ingredients used for the dip, I made all that up. Patrick, ate the other bread already.



First on our plate.. Special Senator’s Salad [P395], assorted green lettuce, paper thin slice of smoked salmon, grilled prawns, shitake mushroom and granished with parmesan shavings.

Wow two of my favorites in one! Mhmmm, salmon and shrimp.. This salad is definitely a yes for me! :D



This one’s for Patrick.. what do they call this again? Oh, the Massaman Back Ribs [P695].... The name of the meal itself is already mouthwatering.. Braised beef short rib with Massaman curry and Potato puree. The beef is tender, soft and melts in the mouth said Patrick... I had a few bites and I must say it’s good as well. I liked how the curry blends with the beef, even if it was new to my taste. So yes for their back ribs!



On my plate, Grilled Norweigan Salmon [P595] in Beurre Blanc sauce served with mashed potato and steamed vegetables. Salmon, the reason why Patrick wanted me to eat here at Cafe Voila... I must say, he did a great job on bringing me to Cafe Voila! Hahaha....

Looking at these photos make me want to drive to Tagaytay and have some healthy Norwegian salmon. It didn’t disappoint me, plus I like mashed potatoes very much too.





We still had some food left when we suddenly felt we were full, but I didn’t back down and ate all of my salmon.. I really wanted to have some of their cakes after but we were too full so we walked around a bit and took more photos of the place.




Here’s a bar were you can choose from over a list of drinks, I must say they offer quite a number of beverages and food. Their menu had so many, I’m glad I was with Patrick who knows what food to order.




Time for the most-awaited, must-try desserts.... Cafe Voi La makes some yummy home-made cheesecakes with over 7 flavors to choose from (Salted Caramel, Oreo, Blueberry, Tiramisu, Nutella, Apple Crumble, Maple Bacon). I’ve tasted the salted caramel and nutella before, opted for Nutella on that day because chocolate. The two flavors I’ve tried taste really good, the others is for you to discover (if you’d like, maybe me too) | Nutella Cheesecake [P195 per slice, P1500 for the whole cake.]
