Every woman has her beauty that she can further enhance with skincare & makeup, it's a woman's secret. There's a ton of beauty brands for us to try and to find which products work best for our skin type but there aren't as many online makeup stores for us to shop at here in the Philippines. One of which is BeautyMNL.com, a go-to beauty destination, with over 300+ brands, for all things beauty.



For someone like me who's work is home-based I don't get to go out as often. Browsing online had actually become a hobby. I'm greatly thankful for websites like BeautyMNL to keep me stocked with my beauty supplies without having to go to the mall.



After months of just browsing through their page (hoping I could one day make a purchase) I finally got the chance to try shopping at BeautyMNL. I've always wanted to shop at BeautyMNL but I was loaded with chores & pending posts so I didn't had the chance. Good thing I was contacted by Erika to try out and test the site. Now I have my reason to check it out. Lol.

SHOPPING WITH BEAUTYMNL

Personally, I like the look of the site. It's pretty straight-forward and easy to browse through. Plus they have this similar feature where you can read feedback and review from other buyers who have tried specific product you are looking to buy. I also like that they have a detailed description & how to use on the product page. All the details - product description, how-to, brand description, reviews etc., are all in one page (same with mobile) which is really nice. Sorry I'm a web & graphic designer so... I talk about the technicals.

Payment

Payments through Paypal, Credit Card via Paypal,  Bank Deposit & Online Bank Deposit (BDO, BPI, Metrobank) and Cash-On-Delivery (COD) is accepted. For more info on payment modes click here.

Credits

What are BeautyMNL credits? Credits are accumulated points which can be used as payment for your orders at BeautyMNL. Although credits will only work with Paypal transactions. Still awesome right! Shipping

About shipping. They guarantee next day shipping with Metro Manila addresses. I can't assure that since I had my package sent to Laguna. So it took a while but they mentioned it would take 5 to 7 working days for the rest of the Philippines. Ugh, the downside of not living in Metro Manila... Oh well. Hahaha.

Here's how it went. I placed my order early morning of January 11. Two days later January 13, I got an email saying my package is with the courier and is en route to the given address. My package arrived six days after order was placed. That's fine since they didn't make me wait longer than 7 days but I was 'atat' and wanted to get my goodies sooner. Haha. Also, the delivery guy called me, he was in our village already but he needed help with finding our house.

OVERALL SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

I'm very happy with the websites ease of use & the shopping process. I had no problems whatsoever. The products were pack in a resealable packaging. My orders came in tact nothing was damaged. I will definitely shop again at BeautyMNL for my beauty needs. I do recommend trying this go-to beauty destination out specially, if you live in the metro, if you still haven't.

These brush sets were actually bought way way back. I saw them being sold by Be.You.Tiful shop at a pop-up bazaar in Glorietta. I knew they weren't the real thing but I still bagged these brush sets because they were in mint color. At that time my addiction with mint colours were at it's peak and somehow I wanted to fill my room with mint colours at that time.. Who knew it'd be a scavenger hunt to find items coloured in mint. Anyway, here are two of the brush sets snagged from Be.You.Tiful.

Get Rid Of Dinosaurs Blush Brush Set 12 pcs - Tin Can

The brush set contains 12 pcs of brushes in tin can packaging.. I don't remember how much these brush sets cost but its definitely not higher than a thousand. They remind of the 3CE brush sets, that I really want to own, saw one from Sephora.. if only it wasn't as expensive. I've also seen Hello Kitty, Doraemon, Naked 3, etc. versions of this rectangular tin can brush set.




Tbh, I am no makeup expert/guru of some sort. I don't even know how to use most of these brushes I bought. In fact, all those months I've had these two brush sets I've only used one.. and that is the angled liner brush. I'm not sure if it's more suitable to use for the brows but I prefer using them to line my eyes with gel eyeliner. Lol.

Okay, moving on to the other roll/fold type pouch brush set that I kind of regret purchasing, feels like I don't really need another one yet. But of course I bought it because of the pop of mint strap of the pouch.. These brushes don't actually have any mint color in it, which is quite disappointing. Lol. The brushes were also a duplicate of some of the brushes from the tin can set. But the bright side is... it had some brush tools I need which isn't included on the kit earlier - Eyebrow Comb, Spoolie, Eyeliner Smudger & Fan.



The kit earlier and this one both contains 12 pcs of brushes but 3 or 4 pieces are different from each other. I have to say, both are not travel-friendly/portable since the tin can is hard cased & quite bulky, while the pouch is quite big, and would take so much space, it's 6.5 inches x 4 inches approximate. But then I can always pick out the essentials and place them in a smaller pouch.




Even though, these aren't products released by the brand Too Cool For School I'm still happy I got these. Yes, all because of the pop of mint in the packaging. I did wish the brushes itself had some tiny bit of mint color in it too but oh well. Haha. I've heard from a beauty & makeup Youtuber that for brushes, it's okay to use dupes but never on the actual makeup products - foundation, lipstick, creams, etc.



I hope I could master using these brushes someday. Haha. I guess the reason for this post is also for me to label the brushes and have a document, something to check back on as to what these brushes are particularly for. I know I can be adventurous with these brushes and use them wherever I want to but at least I know which brush is particularly for what and to know what it's called.

Make up for me!! Yey... Someone got me fab K Palette goodies. Thank you mi amor who traveled to Japan and got me ‘pasalubong’. I forced him to buy me stuff!! Kidding, I actually didn’t know what he could get me when he asked a few days before his flight. I would say hello kitty, this and that nonsense even though I adore a bunch of Japanese products, I couldn’t think of any, so brain dead. Until, I thought of makeup, and sent him product images of K Palette a few hours before he flies. And fast forward to his return... with K Palette stuff, some Meiji products as well as food. So, this haul is actually more like Patrick’s haul and not mine.

Ta-da!~ look how lovely these K Palette thingies are. So happy! Lol.



K Palette is actually available in Beauty Bar stores here in the Philippines but I guess I’m lazy to drop by (tsk tsk tsk) plus it’s cheaper in Japan (duh). And since I was asked what I wanted for ‘pasalubong’, thou shall not neglect! Lol.

Lets move on and break the haul into parts. First is K Palette Okuma Cover Control Concealer in shade 02 & 03 (there are three shades in total). The last time I had a concealer was like 11 years ago! Finally I have something to cover up my dark eye bags again. Yey!




Next... we have K Palette Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow, one of the most popular product. I heard it really stays the whole day.



Featuring K Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Pencil.



Lastly, the latest/newest product by K Palette. The Essence Shadow Liner, an eyeshadow and eyeliner in one that comes in four color combinations. I only requested for three shades. The other color is more of a dark brown/black shade.




I must say I’m lucky for being loved by someone and that he would actually buy me make up. I appreciate the thought (so much, lol). I wished I could have joined the trip though. (So I could get even more beauty products! Lol, kidding).

Hey there! I hope you missed me. Lol. This time I’d like to share my review with yet another online shop and the items I procured at The Little Emily Shop. This by the way is my first purchase from Little Emily Shop.




My package was delivered through Xend. Seven of the pieces I ordered is inside this turquoise pillow-ish plastic, come and join me in opening the Little Emily parcel!



Am I seeing clearly? Yes, they offer clothes for as low as P195! Let’s see how the quality of the items will be..

Okay so I’ve opened the parcel and hanged the clothes for aesthetic purposes. These are now the actual items. I wasn’t able to hang one more top coz’ I ran out of wooden hangers. I wonder where those hangers went.



I wore the Gray V Neck Relax top instead. I bought the same top but in blue color. This top is big (haha) but checking from the photos from Little Emily Shop it’s actually really loose. I am impressed by the quality of the items I bought from Little Emily Shop for a very affordable price.



I specially liked this skirt & top set! I thought the skirt was too small for me initially but it fit me well when I tried it on.



This plaid dress too! So nice!! I’m really happy with my loot from Little Emily Shop. For an affordable price I got nice looking pieces.

Yey for a haul! Yey for Etude House products! Yey for Etude House products haul! (what?) Hahaha..

Look at these pretty little thingsss! Why do girls like me get ‘kilig’ over these goodies?



Anyway... I remember getting an email from Etude House last time about one of their latest product - Enamelting Gel Nails. They have another new product which is the Color in Liquid Lips. So after a few months of seeing Etude House campaigns with Park Shin Hye (Color in Liquid Lips)... I decided to get the Enamelting Gel Nails and the Color in Liquid Lips.

So funny of me to leave my Smart Money card where I loaded up funds to buy the products, I was just able to buy three polishes I think, whatever my cash can afford...Oh My! Luckily my mom was out as well to buy the others. Love you Mom! :D

I even went to two branches of Etude House (one in makati and in mall of asia) after the dryer I have didn’t work. But! they didn’t have the dryer... soooo desperately I pm'd my best cousin ever who lives/works in singapore. And...



Ta-da~ She found it for me. So happy!!



The thing is.. they don’t sell the LED gel lamp separately in Singapore. So my haul.. got doubled. Hahaha... More Enamelting Gel Nail Polishes!! <3

According to Etude House Philippines website the LED Gel Lamp costs Php Php 3,598.00. Talk about price difference... but I haven’t checked the actual product on Etude House branches in the Philippines so I’m not sure if the lamp also comes as a set here in the Philippines. Anyway, now I have a lifetime supply of gel nails.
